Windows Live Writer.

So I’m testing out Windows Live Writer (WLW) to see if it is really as good as I hear. So far the interface seems pretty basic, which is nice, kind of a Wordpad-style feel to it. Not too much clutter like Microsoft Word. I don’t know what kind of features it has so far, writing, links, pictures, tables and the likes. Another feature of WLW is the ability to post-date your blog posts to have them be published later, great for when an internet connection is unavailable.
I think a good addition to WLW would be third-party support from the various blogs to allow modifying of the blog’s style on top of the posting ability.

Just as you would imagine, the image function is very straightforward. Browse your computer, pick an image, position and resize as you see fit.
Overall, I think Windows Live Writer is an excellent find if you do a lot of blogging and need a nice non-web-based blog poster as managing post work-in-progress tabs in your browser can get hectic.
