Apple tablet.
So apple is coming out with a new product, and as little as I should care, I still do. I think it's just my inner geek wondering what's so special about it that is going to make it such a big new product. According to Steve jobs, the CEO of apple, it's going to be the biggest thing he's ever done.

I guess we'll see the outcome of all of this when they announce it in a week or so.

Lemme know.
If you are reading this, I would like you to comment on my blog. Let me know anything I can do to spruce it up. I'm kind of lost as to the direction I want to take this blog. Game reviews, software reviews, general randomness, anything. Just let me know.

BlogPress
I'm getting into this blogging thing pretty well now, I found an app on the AppStore perfect for just that. The app is called BlogPress, the paid version ($2.99) supports Wordpress, MSN Live Spaces, LiveJournal and various other blog sites. As for photos, the full version supports flikr, MovableType and Wordpress. The free version only supports blogspot for blogs and Picasa for photos.

Overall, BlogPress is impressive, VERY easy to use, only problem I have with it is lack of formatting options. If you like to blog, this app is worth the $2.99. If you use BlogSpot, even better, head over to the app store and get the free version today.

Windows Live Writer.
So I’m testing out Windows Live Writer (WLW) to see if it is really as good as I hear. So far the interface seems pretty basic, which is nice, kind of a Wordpad-style feel to it. Not too much clutter like Microsoft Word. I don’t know what kind of features it has so far, writing, links, pictures, tables and the likes. Another feature of WLW is the ability to post-date your blog posts to have them be published later, great for when an internet connection is unavailable.
I think a good addition to WLW would be third-party support from the various blogs to allow modifying of the blog’s style on top of the posting ability.

Just as you would imagine, the image function is very straightforward. Browse your computer, pick an image, position and resize as you see fit.
Overall, I think Windows Live Writer is an excellent find if you do a lot of blogging and need a nice non-web-based blog poster as managing post work-in-progress tabs in your browser can get hectic.
